Ready for X-ray

Our last afternoon before my departure was spent mostly at the doctor's, where my mom got another injection for her painful knee. She always takes that very long needle remarkably well.

We parted with lots of "I love you" but no "see you in seven weeks." That's just too much truth with too little comprehension. I will see her sooner than that via Skype and possibly from photos anyone at Silverado cares to take and share with me.

Next stop . . . Rome!
