Mollie and a cobweb

Cobwebs were everywhere, and they were amazing. Not just the cobwebby ones, but the ones that run horizontally for about two dozen feet, just two or three feet off the ground. However do spiders do that?? Here's one such, with Mollie the borrowed dog in the back ground.
