A world masterpiece

Claude Monet, Haystacks: Snow Effect is on display at the Abbot Hall. I would have liked to go to the lecture on Monet's Haystacks: Seriously Serial Cereal, to learn about his obsession for light and colour and why he painted 35 pictures of these haystacks. Anyway, it was quite special to see a work by of the world's most famous painters here in Kendal.
