The Mole Valley

It was a beautiful morning when I took Normous to the golf club for his bridge session. He is still not driving. On the way home I took a detour up a side road with this view over the valley of the River Mole. With all the recent rain I half expected the river to have flooded. It was full, but not yet over its banks.
I picked Normous up at lunch time and we had a Thai lunch on the way home.
A Talking Newspaper day for me today, editing this morning and reading tonight. Pity there isn't much news in the local paper!
