Homage to Peploe

This Still Life , a digital painting, is constructed in homage to that great Scottish Colourist, Peploe, following the discovery of one of his paintings , "Pink Roses"in a Stirlingshire home.

It had been kept in the spare room by a family who had had bought it many years ago. They didn't like it and only now after the death of the owner has it come back on to the market.

Peploe is regarded as one of the most popular and valuable of the Scottish Colourists and "Pink Roses" is expected to reach between £200,000 and £3000,000 at auction in Glasgow later this month.
