Why disturb the peace?
Everything’s in its place.
Don’t cause a ripple?
Give everyone a breathing space?

But, if you know that below the surface
lies deep, deep water,
deep enough to drown in,
shouldn’t you be blowing
that whistle sooner rather than later.
