We had the last of our concrete put down today.

This young man had to work around the overhanging plants. He was very mindful,of my garden even though it must have been a real nuisance for him.  He had to pick cosmos petals out of the surface of the concrete before he could smooth it off.
We were going to spend a few days away because its a long weekend but because of the intense heat, our new concrete needs to be watered to slow the drying process otherwise it will crack.
