Northern Nightingale

Since I first spotted a female blackcap on the bird feeder a couple of days, ago, I've been on the lookout for her, so was pleased to get another good view today.
I've been finding out a bit more about them.  According to the RSPB's website, 'although primarily a summer visitor, birds from Germany and north-east Europe are increasingly spending the winter in the UK.' It also says that 'its delightful fluting song has earned it the name 'northern nightingale'. So here is a link to a (male) blackcap in full flow - definitely one to watch/listen out for.
