The gift

Mrs Rex took herself off to treat her cousin to lunch in celebration of her cousin's birthday which was yesterday, but no big deal apparently. We've all seen too many these days to get emotional about them any more. She may share the same birthday as 'Rabbie' but that's where the similarity ends, haggis wasn't on the menu today. Just a card and some tulips.

Taxi duty for Evan's swimming kept me away from the festivities, and a free lunch.
