stitching leaf

This is the last piece I made before we left California. I found it in a box today. Seeing it reminds me of a wonderful time and place and, unfortunately, that it is gone. I haven't felt like stitching for a long, long time, but seeing this was a little inspiring. I might try again...something small, just for me, then if the memories get too overwhelming I can let it rest.
