Higgledy…….

These fungi, of which only a small portion can be seen in this photo, are tumbling over each other as they squash between the base of this established tree and the surrounding asphalt.

These were an unexpected fine, but I guess the recent rain and the hot humid temperatures followed by sunny days have provided perfect growing conditions. 



Yesterday’s minimalist photo proved popular and I send you all a very big thank you for the comments, stars and hearts. These silvery grey leaves from  the ‘silver dollar’ gum tree are often used by florists in bouquets - and when dried, they become this delicate shade of colour.
