Japonaiserie

A follow up to yesterdays quick shoot in front of the white curtains.  It's a while since I tried to be a bit more ambitious with a still-life set up and I'd forgotten what a challenge it could be.  I began by using a smooth white piece of paper behind the Witch Hazel because I felt the texture on yesterdays background was a bit of a distraction, but then remembered my Japanese scarf and swopped my set up for the scarf and a black background.  I took quite a few photos with the vase in different positions but in the short term I've opted for this image for todays blip.  I might change my mind later.
