Nellie Travels

Room with a view!

This is the view that greets me every morning from my bedroom window in Ireland.

It is one of my favourite views here and it is constantly changing. I have seen calves and lambs being born in the little field which seems to double as a makeshift maternity ward for cows and ewes or a holding pen for tups etc. The larger fields usually have cattle or sheep grazing in them. There are always pheasants running about here and there through them. Always something to catch my attention.

Today the rain was bouncing off the puddles in the field....this was the one dry interlude!!

More rain tomorrow but I won't notice because I'll be too busy packing!! Home on the ferry on Friday.
