Life with The Pinks

The welly walk

Master Pink's school did a welly walk today, to raise money to buy a cow as part of a send-a-cow scheme. They walked a big circle around the neighbouring roads and then headed back to school for a milk shake and a shortbread cow! I walked alongside Master Pink's class. It was good fun, and we had sunshine for the whole thing. The children amused me a little as they were either super excited to be out in the fresh air and sunshine or complaining that it was boring and they couldn't possibly walk another step!! Apparently the cow biscuits were yummy!
Miss Pink was at preschool all morning, I picked her up at 12 when they finish their lunch. I'd made sure had a cooked lunch as we have master pink's swimming lesson on a Wednesday evening. Well she'd demolished a jacket potato and cheese. When we got home she asked for the following: a jam and butter sandwich, an apple, a few crispies please, and some strawberries. She ate all of it. We went to Grandmas for a change of scenery, and to catch up with life with Granny, where miss pink ate a cake. When we got to school to pick master pink up from his club; she had a tantrum because she was sooooooo hungry! She had a few sweeties. When we got home Master Pink wanted a post school/pre-swim snack and so Miss Pink wanted some too. When we got to the pool she ate her packed lunch tea! In the car to go home she had a banana. I don't think I've ever seen her eat so much ever!!!
Perhaps she's having a growth spurt and she'll be six foot tall tomorrow!!
