Westhumble

There is not much left of the twelfth century chapel that we pass if we take the back road home from N's golf club. The tiny chapel is in a valley close to a farm. A few years ago the farm and the valley were up for sale and there was worry as to what would happen to this quiet backwater. Luckily the farm and the valley were bought by the National Trust and saved. (Extra shows a house next to the farm, with their own post box in the wall)
Normous is still not driving so I took him to the golf club for his Sunday bridge session. One of the four very kindly brought him home where his Sunday roast awaited.
