Flood with Notre Dame

Another outing on the prowl for flood images late this afternoon. I took this shot from the same viewpoint as this one on a snowy day (!) just five years ago at nearly the same time time of day (don't miss it :); it shows how much of the low pedestrian bank the flood covers (I'm on the Pont de la Tournelle). The extra is looking upstream from the Pont Notre Dame towards the Pont d'Arcole, with the brightly lighted Hôtel de Ville (Town Hall) on the left.  The flood has crested in Paris, a bit below the forecast, but the outlook remains poor for many other parts of France. I've actually just put up a second extra of the earlier snowy view (20/1/2013) for easier comparison.
