Sunbeams

Light again

T has pushed out the stoned-up window to let in the light into one of the old barns that used to house the old corn dryer which is now redundant.  He has been clearing out the pharaphernalia that went with it and  blocked up the grain shute and hole in the ground.  Soon we shall have more inside space to store farm machinery.  The window looks out on to the covered cartway - where  wagons loaded with hay or straw where sheltered from the elements in the old days.  It is good to see these original buildings still being used where possible.
