Love Is In The Air

There was some very serious business going on this afternoon on our kitchen counter. I have to say - although you can't really see it very clearly in this particular shot - the male lady beetle has quite an impressive whatsit. And the entire procedure went on for a loooooong time. Then when I went back in the kitchen later I couldn't find them, so who knows. I presume she has to go put eggs somewhere. But I have no idea what he does. I suppose Mr. Google might know.
