Sunny Sunday

Hooray ...... sunshine ....... mild too ...... great for it to be Sunday! The only downside was it was windy ..... but even the wind wasn't cold!

Spotted this 'Little Nelly' helicopter flying above the house this morning ....... just had to blip it (bottom right)

This afternoon we went for a walk in Westgate Woods ........ it was lovely ..... though the wind did make things a bit challenging!

Saw lots of Snowdrops ....... the sky was beautiful ...... took this as the sun was low in the sky :-)

We saw quite a lot ....... a flock of Goldfinch, 2 Kestrels, Great Tit ...... several Blackbirds & Magpies ....... also ..... just as we were walking back to the car ...... we saw a Hare run across the field! Shame he was going much too fast for me to take a photo ..... but at least we saw it!

All in all a great walk & a great day :-)
