Mon: Petsitting Einstein

When Einstein first arrived at the house several months ago, he had probably been an outdoor cat for several months (he is nearing two years of age, it is believed).  The first couple of months indoors he was the most timid of cats.  Over time, though, he has begun to realize that he is home, and has become a bit of a cuddle bug.  I have noticed improvements in his demeano(u)r over the three or four times I've petsat him since he arrived.  During the current ongoing visit, he now hops into bed in the morning, follows me around the house, and takes his siestas in the guest room rather than in his usual bed upstairs.  On the to-do list: agreeing to be picked up.
