TTAA

In 1960 we had been in Europe and had seemingly got a new Opel Rekord P1 from the works at Russelsheim.

this one was decorated with UK motoring club badges from the RAC and the AA. I think back then you probably had the AA for service and the RAC for prestige!

However, the AA service was not the best in Trinidad, taking months for the breakdown man on his motorbike and sidecar to turn up. So my father had joined the TTAA - Trinidad & Tobago Autmobile Association.

Looking them up on the web in 2018, I see the logo is unchanged and probably the service. The website still seems to be under construction.
I don't remember our cars ever breaking down in Trinidad - we only had good German engineered cars there.
