Life through the lens...

Need a head for heights!

Another glorious day!

This was our morning coffee stop!
What a fantastic view!

This is the restaurant Es Grau near Estellencs, on the road along the North coast of Mallorca.
We were on out way to Valledemossa.
The road twists and turns round many hairpin bends, as it hugs the coast, high above the cliffs, with the most wonderful views. Glad I wasn't driving! It was bad enough being a passenger!

We spent a lovely day in Valledemossa. A beautiful town. Quite busy, but just down a side street away from the crowds, and you have the place to yourself(well almost)
We found a tiny bar doing Tapas. 2.50 euros for a glass of wine and tapas included!
You walked through a door way from the narrow street, down some steps, and past rows of salami, and hams hung up, and big bowls of olives. On the other side was a wall with shelves full of bottles of wine.
The room was quite dark, and then as you walked to the back a huge window , which was open, looked over the valley to the sea beyond. There were two tables made out of wine barrels and 6 tall stools. A couple were just leaving so we managed to get seated, and then were brought a glass of red Mallorcan wine(which was very good) some tasty green olives and hot toast covered in chopped tomato which was quite spicy! A lovely way to spend time out of the hot sun.

Drove back on the same road, with more spectacular views in the other direction.
Then a swim and a rest before going out for our evening meal.
