Kilminning Castle

We walked from Kingsbarns to Crail, taking the bus back.

The "castle" is actually a rock. In the full size image, you can just see two much larger rocks on the horizon: the Bass Rock on the left, and Berwick Law in the centre.

Although it was breezy, the rain held off. I had forgotten that one short stretch of the path is blocked at high tide and I think we must have reached that point with fifteen minutes to spare. We were even closer with the bus, glimpsing it go past us in the street ahead. However it takes a short detour in Crail, and we knew to go round the corner and catch it on its return.
