Birding

Out with the Photography Group today. One of our members has a farm with a little wood and a makeshift hide so around ten of us tried our luck at getting some decent bird pics. But it was cold, cloudy and later very wet. It's at times like this that I wish I had a bigger lens - I only have 200mm so the birds in my viewfinder stay very small. Despite getting drenched, it was a good morning - lot's of chat about photography and birds and lovely soup and homemade cake back at the farm. And we dried out in front of the Aga!
