Looking down from the bridge.

One of our favourite walks takes us over the footbridge in Siesta and alongside the only freshwater River in Ibiza. From here the path takes us towards the old bridge where the spring water bursts from under a rocky outcrop into the pool in the picture before running on into the sea.
The path then continues up the hill to the church that overlooks the.town. From here there are panoramic views out to sea and across the island.
I stopped to pick an orange off one of the trees. Up to this point I could not understand why people do not help themselves to the oranges. I soon discovered the reason. The taste is sharp and bitter. More used for marmalade than to eat straight from the tree. Very juicy though and leaves your mouth feeling fresh. Maybe an acquired taste.
Grateful for friends. Inspiring walks and God's presence.
