Wild dog

This little chap is an African Wild Dog pup, well he would be if he wasn't a toy! We bought him at the airport in Johannesburg and he is a great favourite in the family.
Real African Wild Dogs are are not as sweet and cuddly. They are efficient predators that hunt in packs. They are quite rare, but we were lucky enough to see a pack last time we were in South Africa.
He isn't really wild, but I am offering him for Wild Wednesday.
