After a wet morning it has become much brighter this afternoon, so after work I put on a washing load and hung it outside. Then I thought I might do a bit of tidying in my garden, but it was a bit too squidgy underfoot and the temperature has dropped quite a bit so I only managed a little bit before my hands (and one foot as one of my trusty garden clogs that I have had for years has sprung a leak), got really cold so I retreated back indoors for a cup of herbal tea. But there are signs of life, snowdrops, one crocus, and this viburnum, who still gets eaten, shaggy leaves but pretty flowers.
