A friend of mine told me recently that a blue moon is a time for doing something unusual. I'm going to celebrate with my first bivvy of 2018. I'm not going far, just the furthest corner of our little wood, where there is a wee patch of grass under a cherry tree which has beautiful white blossom in springtime. It's a special place.
