A heavy hail shower did nothing for the washing on the line but it did add a little something to the flowers when the sun broke through soon after. A strong sprinkling of white soon melted away leaving everything glistening. Iris histrio caught my eye most but there were other moments in the light. A solitary Leucojum vernum (extra pic) made the blip choice difficult.
The three of us spent a happy hour with the Grandparents before lunch. Grandma's face always lights up when she sees Jamie. A happy time. We came home with three dry and shrivelled Amaryllis in need of some TLC. Along with another 16 pots of seed planted, their rescue kept me occupied for a while this afternoon.
