Super moon

I've never taken a photo of the moon before and wasn't sure my compact camera would be up to the task but theres been so much discussion of the super blue moon and it is looking stunningly bright tonight so I thought I would brave the cold and give it a go ... and here it is. There will be many wonderful photos on blip of this super blue moon ... needless to say this isn't one of those but I managed to get something not too awful. The extra shows another brighter picture, I'm not sure which is better, would appreciate any comments.
