Silent guardians in the shadows, 
Nature creeping up the side
Silent Guardian will never speak
Of all the the voices and gentle hands
that caressed its stoney back
Silent Guardian will never tell
of the night of the conflagration 
That exposed this Silent Guardian
To nature, creeping up the side.
