Lewes Castle

KarenC and I met at Lewes Castle, making use of my renewed Art Fund card. The views over the surrounding countryside makes the climb up the steps worth it. Our trip turned out well timed as we had the best of the weather and were just leaving the gatehouse when a school party arrived. There were plenty of snowdrops in the courtyard garden so I finally got to see some this year.

When we were done with taking photos we went to Bill's cafe for lunch. A very pleasant day with a lovely lady.
