Early Birds

I don't think they've ever been as early as the 1st February though.  They're cranes, part of my "He Always Blips Those" series.  And I love it when they appear.

I love it even more when I'm walking home after a Day in the office and feeling quite down.  Just to hear them chattering away does your heart good.  And then to discover that you have managed to get a blip of them despite not having your glasses to hand is just the gilt on the gingerbread.

The glasses thing is becoming a problem.  I really have to think about getting myself a pair for just everyday wear.  I don't recognise people until they're about 3 meters away.

Forget that, enjoy the arrival of the cranes and the message that spring can't be far behind.  And keep an eye on the sky, they might brighten your day too.
