The 500 year old Chestnut Tree

..... only stands out in certain conditions and, lightly outlined in snow, its form was very clear today. Old tree somehow deserved old sepia. The extra of the Grand and Petit Muveran, shows how much snow fell higher up the hill in a brief clearing this evening. I did not drive to my yoga classes today, I took the bus, too much snow on the roads.
