You were only waiting for this moment to arise

Our third visit to Marbury Country Park to catch a glimpse of the rare winter visitor, the Hawfinch (the one with the beak the size of a nutcracker) which has apparently arrived in the UK in unusual numbers. But still no joy despite sightings of as many as 7 around the site of the Old Hall. Couldn't quite decide on the blackbirds or the catkins this first day of February.
