EP12 Image Overlay - Joey

Joey* resides with his pal in Bournemouth Aviary in the Lower Gardens. He chats away when he wants. You wait patiently for a ‘hello and he usually rewards. Always climbs down the wire mesh when I chat to him, so enjoy calling by.

All the birds are rescues and would not be safe in the wild, so no cruelty here (but being captured in the first place is so sad). They are well cared for by an army of volunteers, have plenty of toys, and are expecting a wonderful new aviary in the hopefully near future.
