The winds of Change

A very cold, dull start, the wind getting up and blowing the clouds bringing some sunshine and a better temperature

We had intended to go to Benicassim this morning and have an explore but it was so grim and cold decided against it.   

However, once the weather improved I went out for a walk this afternoon taking the camera for the first time here.   On leaving where we are staying it is just 50 metres to the promenade.   Looking out to sea, to the left are white sandy beaches with a long promenade and high rise apartment blocks and Hotels., which is what the main picture (incorporating Flower Rriday) shows.   To the right a clifftop path takes one towards the Lighthouse and El Torre de Rey.   More rugged here with no beaches - first extra is looking back towards the Tower with the waves crashing against the cliffs.    The second extra shows the beaches to the right which lead to the Marina.

A varied coastline in just 20 kilometres or so.
