The Grand Pier, Weston-super-Mare

We took Sophie to Weston today and made sandcastles and moats on the beach (see extra of Sophie looking somehow more grown up) before having a spot of lunch in one of the cafes in the building in the background of the extra. It was wonderfully sunny and crisp.

Sophie & Kate are having a sleepover here tonight as Kate is going out for a Chinese meal with some of her friends from work and it saves her driving home. Sophie is sleeping in her "big girl's bed" as she calls it here for the first time. So far, so good!
