Budding

Just 3 1/2 weeks ago, I took this photo of these same trees in all their fall-color glory. They skipped the winter phase and went straight to budding for spring. This is what it's like to live here. It's wonderful.

I'm still fighting this cold. After today, I've got two days off. I hope it goes away. I am feeling better.
