The Bluebell, York

Deb and I went to York for the day, as well as looking at the Minster (wonderful), the shambles (quaint) and the river (windy and VERY cold), we did look into the Bluebell pub. The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) has a list of classic pubs they refer to as the CAMRA "Inventory" - those oubs that have remained unchanged and unspoilt for decades - it did feel like stepping through a time machine, and the beer was beautifully kept.

A great day, but really chilly!
