Blue sky

Lovely bright day and I took a few photos of the trees around the cottage. Love their outlines against the blue sky.

After lunch I took my visitor to see a couple of out of the way water meters. I know how to spoil my guests!

As the daylight faded the hills of Hoy looked quite dark and menacing. There were patches of snow on the tops.

We rounded off the afternoon with a trip to the new(ish) Co-op in Stromness and bought choux buns to keep us going on the 'long' journey home.
