Moulin Rouge

Lucky fo r us that we could get our huge van up the tiny track next to the windmill, as it was teeming down with rain. Popped the window down and grabbed a few shots without either me or the camera getting soaked.

Artisan fare from traditional milling methods handed down seven generations from father to son have been here for centuries. Built on older bases dating back to the fifteenth century this flour mill, the Le Petit Moulin de Chateauneuf is 300 years old.

The windmill itself was all closed up this morning with 'Private' signs - even more excuse to sit inside in relative comfort.

However the engine warning light on the hired Sprinter is still blinking, the rattle has got much worse and we are now losing power at speed. Brilliant!!
