Hanging

Lovely lazy start to the day, with a huge communal breakfast and then a muddy drizzly walk around the lanes nearby.
A few of us went over to a nearby National Trust house to look at an art exhibition (not really up to much but lots of chat about different interpretations of a painting of an armchair) then an inevitable visit to the cafe and a quick wander through the dripping but beautifully manicured garden. This was one end of an ancient espaliered plant....
Home and people variously relaxed, cooked, dipped in the hot tubs and chatted, before getting ready for the main party (extras). Lovely evening...L was overcome and loved her presents and so many of her friends and family being with her. M’s worked so hard to make it a success he must be exhausted....but it was worth it!
