Shivapuri National Park

Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park is situated in the north side of Kathmandu valley. Which is known as ninth national park of Nepal which was previously designed to protect the valley’s water supply and for wildlife reserve.Later, it extended to the Nagarjun Forest Reserve.

Inside the Shivapuri National Park we can find different destination locations such as Tarevir, Nagigumba, sundarijal, chisapani and many more for trekking, hiking, cycling and bike rides too.You can also trek to Nagarkot and Langtang from here. The place is very peaceful and enchanting. You will find some small waterfalls, local villages Communities, hotels, home stays and dense forest where you can enjoy the heavenly.
