Broken dreams

Yes 2018 is turning into another of those years

Friday when I was supposed to be driving a friend to hospital and my car wouldn't start.  We went in her car and later I got the RAC out and had to pay for a new battery (the old one was over 10 years old so I shouldn't grumble)
Yesterday I had a great day out with friends when we went to drive home the steering wheel lock jammed...taxi home and hopefully be now a locksmith has rescued them

Today I learn that my nephew has broken off his engagement - I had started a monthly terramundi pot - £10 a month £250 wedding gift
Well it's paid for the battery!!
