Some Scottish place names are notorious for being different from how they're pronounced;

Culross - koo-ross
Milngavie - mill-guy
Ravenstruther - ren-stry
Lesmahagow - The Gow!

A beautiful day for a jaunt up to Culross then onto South Queensferry for lunch (any excuse to see the Forth Bridge - extra) and home................... lovely :-)))
