Truly Blippin' Marvelous

Rocks

The long drive home (640 miles) from the fifteenth Colorado Dulcimer Festival began in a light snowfall and dense fog. I had hoped to capture Pike's Peak in the light of the rising sun but  decided not to stop at the vista pull-off as he was still shrouded in fog. But a few minutes later as I descended into Colorado Springs there he was brightly lit by the rising sun.

The rest of the drive was uneventful as the traffic was fairly light and the road was dry and the weather fine.

A note on what I was listening to on the way home: Schubert Masses and his last setting of the 23rd Psalm; a programme about the correlation of procrastination and creativity and our sense of time.
