not an 'even bake'

I made some biscuits yesterday afternoon to share with lovely knitting friends. I made a mixture of jammie dodgers and, depending on where you're from 'Empire' or 'German' biscuits. As you can see they weren't 'an even bake' as GBBO would put it! But they were quite tasty!
