Half way up

There was just a light dusting of snow overnight that quickly melted away in our garden this morning... so the thick snow on the hills behind our house took us a bit by surprise! There was a bitterly cold wind on the top, but it was gorgeous up there. It was a bit of a shock to see a car heading up the bumpy snowy path behind us half way up.
