The Edge of the Wold

Sandside sunset

I'm a day behind again, this was yesterday afternoon as I write this on Monday. We had been down to Jenny Brown's Point at high tide, hoping for a rare bird to drift in, but we weren't in luck.  So after we all got home, I nipped out again to see the sunset from Sandside which always feels like a good place to be at this time of the year.

On Sunday I bought a new bird feeder and a bag of nyger seed at Leighton Moss. The hope is to attract goldfinches down to feed, there is always a small flock in and around the garden. But there wasn't a sign of them today when I was watching.
